Allwood relied on steady domestic trade to build and grow over the last 20 years.
We specialise in kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms and via a 3D design service, we can help you judge and select materials and styles to ensure you get exactly what you are after.
We can help you from the smallest job to an entire house re-design with bespoke fittings throughout. Below is a sample of the work we do on the domestic front:


Doors and Windows
First impressions count so the entranceway to your home should always make a statement. Whether you prefer hardwood or UPVC we can supply and fit the door and windows that suits your needs. Internal doors can also change a room so choosing a style that compliments the decor of your home is all important. 
We are able to offer bespoke, purpose built, windows and doors to your own specification – especially important if you are working within the remit of listed building requirements or creating a unique home to your own specific design….for when “off the peg” just won’t do.

Stairs
The look of a staircase can be altered very easily to blend with your new design, whether it’s a complete replacement in a different wood or the updating of the handrails and spindles.  Alternatively you can let your imagination run riot and design your own, bespoke, staircase to your own individual specifications.







Kitchens
For many people a dream kitchen is at the heart of a dream home. We understand that buying a kitchen is a long term investment, which requires careful thought and planning. We aim to ensure that the purchase and installation of your kitchen is made as easy and as stress-free as possible. For that extra special “wow” factor we can design a bespoke kitchen for you, incorporating all your wants and needs in a unique style, producing your units onsite to your own specifications.







With our sister company MiCraft, we undertake as much of the process as you desire from the designing through to the full installation, including electrics, plumbing, tiling and decorating - all depending on your style choice and pocket.

  






Flooring
Allwood Joinery can supply & install hardwood flooring to any room of your property. We can offer a large selection of different types of flooring whether it is of a solid timber floor or a ‘multi’ layered floor. Either type of floor can be fitted over a concrete or a timber floor using suitable underlay as required. Skirting boards & trims to match can be supplied if required. The options on wood style are vast with various options on the finish too.

Here is an example of a solid oak floor that we laid for a local customer. To emphasis the importance of the finished job, we produced a curved skirting board to suit the bow window situation.

Bedrooms
Allwood Joinery will design, manufacture & install a bedroom to suit your tastes. Each unit will be constructed to your individual requirements.
We can help you design and craft any variation of wardrobe with hanging or storage space, drawer units of varying heights, chest & vanity units to suit a dressing table layout. Endless styles & designs of units are available to suit your wishes.



Bathrooms
Whether it’s a straightforward replacement bathroom suite or a conversion to a ‘Wet Room’ if your needs require it.
With our sister company, MiCraft, we would work with our plumber & other specialist trades to achieve your required design without compromising quality or adding to cost.

Wet Rooms & Disabled Fittings
With our sister company, MiCraft, we have extensive experience in producing bespoke wet rooms for the public and local government.  
Designing and installing these specialist rooms is an important and often poorly executed procedure, but one that we have mastered through our links with the Guinness Trust not to mention our years of experience.

Conservatories
A conservatory can be a perfect way to economically and stylishly extend your home.  
We can offer you bespoke craftsmanship and design in both a wide range of wood and UPVC.
